Jinxed: OK Guys I'm In a bit of a pickle...Please read
As many of you know the boyfriend and I have been in the process of buying our first home. Long story short we were told that we needed to put down a $500 deposit with our contract. We were told, I don’t even think it was two weeks ago, that we wouldn’t need to put that money down for a least another two months.
Well we got a call today that we need to but that money down THIS WEEK. If we don’t we are going to have to wait even LONGER for our house to start being built.
Now, I HAD the money, but then some family and friends ran into some trouble, and I lent it to a few different people, thinking, “hey, it’s not due for another few months, no bog deal, I’ll get paid back by then.” LOL NOPE. My sister (who owes me $200) keeps telling me that it’s going to be in the mail that week. She’s been telling me this for the last 3 months.
I know this may not seem all that important to you, it’s not like anyone’s life is in danger, but Shaun and I have been waiting for this day for years now, and to have it all fall apart on of like this just because of $500 is ridiculous.
I am offering quickie commissions (nicely colored clean sketches) for $20 a piece. If you want to be my friggin savior and donate more, I promise it will show in your art. I plan on cranking these out nonstop over the next few days. I’ll probably be streaming most of them.
